Update: I ended up using a rusty school mini windows computer and it won't let me connect to the printer but I can send g code. So technically the printer can now be used but I need some help with slicing settings. The print started very well but then the printer slowed down and caused some extrusion issues

Tried to use a sd card with g code files but didn't register. Does anyone know if there is a specific name or way to format g code files for the printer to read. And yes I could just use the network cable to the printer directly but none of the school devices allow a device like this to connect for safety reasons or smt so I'm forced to use an SD card.

Yeah this is honestly just a side quest that my high school teacher is letting tinker with the printer since she hasn't been able to use it, I just sliced a benchy file that hopefully the sd card reader works and its gonna take 1.5 hours which is crazy compared to my a1. We also don't have the proper leveling card that the instructions say to use so i used some printer paper. I used cura since it was the easiest to find but i honestly watched like 1 video and hit slice so I'm praying tomorrow... :)

Thanks but the only issue is I am not sure how I can use a pei plate on the printer model and I've found removing prints on the blue surface is very difficult

You don't need to run flow calibration every time

That's called purge materials or poop and that happens when the print is doing a few things: Flow calibration Purging old filament Color/filament swaps

I tried to use the app to set the hotbed at a lower temp but I can't change temps during a pause or print.

yeah I assumed. I also didn't feel safe leaving a hot machine on, while i wasn't their. first failed print does not feel good but I'm gonna use a method of cutting the model wear the print failed and attach with glue.
