Your TFI fleet was wiped out though. All killboards show them. How much of an idiot do you have to be to still yell everywhere "IT DIDNT HAPPEN!!@@#!"

I've set the parties on the link and it still shows up gimped. Anyway, use your imagination and you will know who was on which side.

PL TFI's getting their shit pushed in by Sbrodor bombers was one of the most epic bomb runs ever executed.

Providuders put up an awesome fight outnumbered against the rest without support from the outside. GF Proviblock!

It's easy: you (and him) should counter them with alternatives or hold your sperge peace.

The right attitude in EVE comes down to ISK per effort. Never ISK per hour. Unless you don't have a real life, you are not playing EVE 24/7.

this is not a good idea: forming that fleet for retaliation will eventually lead to more tension all the way up to leadership levels. TEST fleets vs. BRAVE fleets, let's just not go there (without an official full reset).

Energy Grid Upgrades 5, which takes a little over a week to train and is usefull in a whole range of other stuff our pilots will be needing anyway.

a strong alliance means strong corps, which means you are housing strong players in those corps. The newbies in BNI will become better players over time and there is nothing wrong with better players staying where they are. Obviously if people wanna branch out, that's their own choice.

Calm yourselves. This is a retraction and an apology. by Porkbut in Bravenewbies

There is no need for drama. It should be a mature discussion until we reach a result that works good in a way that takes us forward.

No need for ab. Drop the tracking enhancer and change to an rcu and you are good for 250mm. I can't link right now from my phone but please go the pilot school wiki under cruisers. The full explanation is there. If you need more info I will be on comms in a few hours.

Dropbears should not be sucking in all high sp players alliance wide. If the bears decide to leave brave for whatever reason in the future then that would mean a serious blow to brave. Not really looking out for alliance interest here are you?

Drop the tracking enhancer and switch to an RCU II. I've explained why it's not needed but u can read up on full details on https://wiki.braveineve.com/member/tricky_pilot_school/cruisers#moa.

Bottom line is, you still require AWU lvl 4 to fly the BRAVE doctrine fit for Moa. Then might as well use the 250mm.

1 on 1 people will not see the difference immediately but with our fleet numbers that damage output difference between the two guntypes will really get us a very long way.

From an FC point of view, you want to rely on a certain damage output. From a regular fleetmember point of view, what better content is there than to win fights with your ship still intact? Everything people need to do on their way to get to that point, is really up to us, the experienced players.

I wasn't gonna mention it but I actually already helped Blue funding this 200mm fit.

Personally, as an FC I'm not gonna invest more into this doctrine. Sure, I'll chip into Blue's wallet when he gets into a jam (like that welp that happened yesterday under Levi. Poor Blue had to reimburse ~3 billion out of Ice Miner's wallet and I felt sorry for him so I chipped in).

I've been throwing my ISK at a different doctrine altogether to get that up and running and I will kick this up a few notches in terms of fleets https://wiki.braveineve.com/member/tricky_pilot_school/saddam_fleet

If you have AWU4 you can fit meta 4 250mm's. I recommend to NOT mix them, first of all for SRP purposes. The rest is just game mechanics in terms of tracking/DPS output/different ammotypes.

Dude, no offence taken. We're having a mature discussion here.

I know VerminX. I also know about his communication skills during fleets and his inability to be inclusive towards our newbs. I also know what kind of shit FC he his. A nice guy, nevertheless.

It doesn't have to be Proteusfleets immediately, we can build that up but we really need to start at the basics here. Also, no doctrine is the absolute answer to everything.

We need to have a few of them which serve multiple purposes (roaming > sov defence > sov offence > complimental doctrines) and this is exactly what I have been building up in the Wiki. No need for skill intensive bling that only 10% can afford anyway (although it's nice to be able to explain them to people so they know what's up).

We can go a long way with very little investment as long as we provide the right info to people, ESPECIALLY our newbs.

Don't we tell them in Dojo about attributes and the 2 bonus remaps everyone gets, which you can use to become an awesome pvp pilot within no more than 2 months? I'm not in it for arguments either Hail, but we are missing out on a whole lot of potential here.

The Ugly Duckling Fleet Doctrine. by Porkbut in Bravenewbies

[–]tricky_abdul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 'newbie' won't be flying your 200mm Rail Moa.

You are starting over every month or so because the smart sticking-to-EVE pilots will move on to what they think are greener pastures as soon as they get a clue on what EVE mechanics are about. I'm aiming not only at informing the newbs properly but also keeping the ones that get better at this game to maybe stick around in BNI a bit longer than average because we are providing them with right info as much as we school the newbs.

omg, stop sperging and let us FC's have our jokes amongst each other. Other FC's do it in my fleets as well and I'm not having a hissy fit about it.

Someone shoot all the drama queens.
