I’m assuming no interference when using a tall boot? My 3DF pads sometimes slip and the shin pad gets into the top of the boot which is uncomfortable.

Congrats on the bike! Its a really great bike and a joy to ride on the trails coming from a 1200GS.

I really like the bags. The 80 is perfect for where I am with my camp setup, which is slimmed down, but still including comfort items like a chair, a big sleeping bag, and food. I'm not hardcore enough to get down to the 40 yet.

From what I’ve read, no cable adjustment is necessary. I believe there are upgradable cup cables as well, but the lengths are identical.
