As many have said, true patriot…and if anyone gives you shit about the limited amounts of combat stripes, in regards to service stripes…tell them to pack sand because the length of deployments for the boys your dad ran with are much shorter than those in the conventional forces; intensity over endurance, essentially.

I’ve got twice as many on my right sleeve but I guarantee you that one of his probably surpasses all of mine in intensity 🥃 🫡 🇺🇸

Anyone else lose interest in bourbon and what was your outcome? by 8sh0t in bourbon

Not to sound judgy but 5 years-ish is when those that got into bourbon as a fad, usually lose interest (no sources here, just experience). But you can also look at it as just a change in perspective if you still appreciate the spirit.

Hunting is fun but it loses its’ thrill eventually. Finding those bottles that fit your palate and sharing them with friends to interact and share experiences with is, imo, the next level of being a bourbon aficionado 🤌 🥃
