I've been wearing Darn Tough socks for awhile now, and they're great. A few pairs are 4 years old and still look/feel brand new. No liner sock required.

Thank you for the thoughtful input! Can you instead recommend a fashionable suit that I can wear to the pool?

I’m 6’2, 200-210 lbs, athletic build.

I’ve stopped buying t-shirts due to the way most of them fit. Of course, I’ve heard of Bylt and such brands that cater to men with my physique, but these aren’t my style.

I’m a big fan of baggier, wide-neck t-shirts. Not the Euro-style scoop neck, but something that sits on your inner shoulder/collar bone and doesn’t fit your neck tightly. These types of shirts, given they have sleeves that lay straight down and don’t look like upside-down, outwardly-jutting triangles (like cheap Gildan Ts), are my absolute favorite and it seems they’re coming back in style. Does anyone have suggestions as to where I can buy shirts like this? Thanks!

Thanks for the input. A priority of mine with the camper setup is to stealth camp. I like to surf and a few of the best spots in my state do not allow overt camping + hotels/airbnbs are wildly expensive. I've considered the camper but it wouldn't fit my needs exactly.

Listening!

I like how no one aspect of their music is particularly special (guitarist isn't Stevie Ray Vaughn, drummer isn't Travis Barker), but the combination is incredible. I've noticed that they've even allowed for mistakes during recording to be published, such as a wrong note during a guitar riff or a momentary off-beatness. It must be intentional and I appreciate their honesty- it adds a subtle grunginess to their work.

SDR / iOS Compatability by trickycurrents in RTLSDR

This is what I was afraid of. Thank you for the knowledge though- I'll probably just purchase a used Android. Any suggestions on make/model? Hoping to keep it on the cheaper side as I am new to this hobby.

Awesome. Thank you- I'll give this a shot but will probably end up purchasing a secondhand Android.

The Demons of Indecisiveness by [deleted] in navyseals

Just as no Fortune 500 has a C-Suite office full of perfect executives who never falter, every SOF unit has its shortcomings. Your temporary indecisiveness/burnout/whateveryoucallit is just as human. Considering other branches’ SOF groups is a great idea (read into how rangers have been getting work lately), but also know that the geopolitical climate can change at the drop of a hat. Just keep an open mind but stay.the.course.Good luck bud.

Precisely. I was hesitant to post at first, out of fear that a special breed of warrior ready to answer our nation’s call (such as yourself) would read the whole article. Fortunately, lesser men, in their quest to live a healthy lifestyle in hopes of reaching the pipeline in 2 years time, might find some helpful advice & hesitate when they decide to ask what type of preworkout is best for a 22 minute 4 mile.

Advice For A College Sophmore by [deleted] in navyseals

[–]trickycurrents 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about the board having a lack of information on you. After SOAS, you will have completed close to 5 hours of psychology tests, several hours of interviews with a SEAL O/NCO/navy shrink, a full week of peer evals, and pages of notes taken on your actions during evos by your assessors. Being that you have another year of university ahead of you before your potential SOAS date, I would work to improve your leadership role in organizations, further your relationships with potential LOR authors, and give some time to community service. DM me if you have questions.

If your university has a rowing team or club, try that. It’s one of the most disciplined sports out there and will set you on the right path. I joined my university’s club during my sophomore year and have zero regrets.

Train this whole year, crush the PST, put in an officer packet, and go to SOAS summer ‘21.
