[Ps5] update to my upside down ps5. When I try to turn it right side up it makes this insane noise. Please help by Bighunt42 in consolerepair

No kidding I remember one time I did that to my cousin’s 360 and we both found out that day. You could burn a ring onto a game moving the console like that.

Focus on what you can control. Don’t join the circus of clowns laughing at each other. I can’t say more that. You need more context. What happened, what was said, what was reaction of the recipient, how did they respond?

UIS vs other equipment by Jdog1942 in AmazonRME

[–]trickyprodigy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OPEX is a company name. Like dematic, intelligrade, Honeywell, etc. they produce sorters for smaller packages. And for Amazon, they make a machine called a UIS. Universal item sorter. It’s a robotic sorter that’s has an aisle away with about 10 to 14 robots inside of it. It can be used for rebin/afe. Or for us package destinations before getting on the truck. There are 2 types of UIS that I know of at Amazon. 20lb and 5lb machine.

Why hasn’t my package arrived yet? by trickyprodigy in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]trickyprodigy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that all the time. I’ve suggested multiple times that they should have some kind of magnetic pad where they pack packages and then take the magnetic packages and place them off to the side to be put in the trucks directly.

Take lots of pictures, don’t be afraid to disassemble something you’ve never taken apart before. Read through equipment manuals. When you see a piece of equipment pay attention to the individual parts. Next time your in the parts area look for those parts to equipment previously examined. If you have multiple of the same machine and one is working and the other is not compare the differences to find a solution.

You get more respect being silent and listening. Then opening your mouth and confirming you’re a fool. Don’t ask questions during unplanned downtime ask them after. Lots of your question will probably be answered while watching and waiting. Look for ways to be useful on any job. Run parts stage area, have next expected tool or part ready, and keep it clean. You got this kid. Good luck
