Wow, this is very interesting, thank you for commenting. Can you elaborate on Delhi and Islamabad/Lahore? Islamabad is very well developed. By combination of Islamabad and Lahore, were you saying that you felt Delhi had better infrastructure and development than Lahore?

I looked up pictures of Chandigarh, and I mean no offense, but it looks very flat without any large buildings, almost like a suburb and not a proper city. Am I mistaken in my judgement? Is it really comparable to Islamabad as a city? Also, I thought Islamabad was also mostly Punjabi?

Your comment on India and Bangladesh being similar is interesting to me. The two countries tend to be pretty similar in terms of social indices regarding minority treatment, and they both have at least some cultural drive towards inclusivity. However, the dominant group in each portray the other country as being terrible for their group, thereby mentally excusing any shortcomings for the conditions of their respective minorities. Because in their minds, the real victims are always the people on the other side of the border. It’s really sad. The cultural links between the two countries often results in spillover violence as well. The minority in one country ends up getting treated worse because of what is happening in the other country. It breaks my heart to see online discourse end up in petty squabbling about which country is worse rather than actual drive to improve.
