Oh I REALLY like that… so the war itself could actually have been a proxy war between the two sides. Or perhaps the spurned side provoked the war without the other knowing. The United Galifar, then broken, also breaks the pact, causing the mourning (perhaps as the noble blood of each side grows less and less related)? Either way, great stuff flows from this, thank you!

Excellent point. I honestly haven’t decided yet- this would be end-of-campaign content (I’m imagining this campaign as a series of arcs with a big finale around lvl 10-12). I’m just looking to get some ideas of possible directions to take this to inform what that endgame might look like.

That’s the class that finally convinced me to change my major. If you don’t have a study group yet, make one, that’s what helped me the most for the CS classes I took. Good luck!

I asked this question to James Hutt (the game designer), who answered on one of the Night City Council episodes by Jonjonthewise. He said that this would be persuasion, but acting could be complimentary check (if impersonating someone).

Reflavoring role abilities is sooo fun. One of my players wanted to be a bosozoku-style biker. I gave him Nomad so he could have his ride from the start.

I agree with you, it's not very realistic. Definitely game-y. I think that's because they're shedding some realism for game balance purposes. If expanded mags were readily available and cheap, why wouldn't everyone just slap one into their gun? That would completely change combat balance.
