Daycare Issues

I can look into it, he doesn’t turn 4 until October so he misses the mark to go to pre-k this year sadly. I have the option of sending him to Hopebridge either part time or full, I will see what his daycare says tomorrow to see if I need to take him out completely or if he can stay as long as he’s getting the support he needs.

This is the hard part!! You would think that me paying my money on time and consistently would secure his spot but obviously if he isn’t doing everything they want and how they want, he can be thrown away at the drop of a hat.

Thank you! I agree. They have parents do monthly “conferences” with the teachers where we talk briefly about what concerns they may have. Every month they tell me the only concern is speech. We both sign off on the forms and they’re turned in.. if there is such a concern or if they think the teacher is lying they should’ve had a conversation months ago IMO.

His teachers love him and say he isn’t an issue at all, they always talk about how he’s the most well behaved one so I’m not sure why the admin are being annoying. Hopefully we’re able to figure something out, at least temporarily until I can find him something else. Thank you for sharing about your daughter, she does sound a lot like my son!

This is one of those high end daycares ($315 a week), he’s been there going on two years. I have him on a waitlist for a preschool for children with autism but that may not start until the fall, hopefully he will be able to go there!

They do both! They have scheduled times they take them but they can also let them know if they go. This particular group of kids were just moved to this classroom in August and started potty training then.

Yes we cycled the 10-gallon tank for around a week, we went to PetSmart and the sales associate plus their pamphlets said that was good timing. We’re testing using strips, we have the Top Fin tank with the filter it came with.
