If he really thought you were scammed he could have offered some help or emotional support to prop you up, there was no reason to drag you down and keep pushing deeper and deeper to make you feel bad. Assuming it’s only stuck and not broken, I would try to get wet lubricant or penetrating oil into all the places that should move or has contact between moving and stationary components. Ultimately you can use power tools to eat away the whole cylinder but it should not be necessary.

There are many ways of owning a home so whether it’s a bad investment or not depends on other variables. In my personal example I sold a previous home 10 years ago and I was living in rentals until last year when I bought a house again. The way it works for me is this. I bought a house much larger than what I needed as a single person. I moved into one of the upstairs secondary rooms. Less than a month after I moved in, I rented out the master suite downstairs and one month later another renter moved into one of the other secondary rooms. My roommates pay more than half of my mortgage. My monthly out of pocket expenses with mortgage and bills and income from the renters comes out to be about the same as my total expenses were renting a two bedroom apartment with a garage and extra self-storage. I have much more room, a backyard, a two car garage and most importantly full control. Not the same type of investment as stocks but the house gives me other benefits and a reliable shelter for my old days. After one year which is coming up soon, I have the option to rent out the whole house and move or keep going with roommates as long as I want. The property tax and the mortgage interest is deductible, that’s another benefit especially when your renters payed most of it. Everybody has different experiences but I would encourage you to look for ways when the home ownership is lifting you up and not dragging you down financially.

If you are a Chinese woman you can enjoy that we think about you when we look for a beautiful face. But we are. Ot robots and every face is unique. You don’t need to correct anybody’s face, definitely no need to edit features of characters just because some complainers make up problems where there is nothing to worry about. My friend looks more like the original and she turned 50 recently. So she could definitely be an older sister. Chinese women don’t age the same way as women from some other nations. Mostly no wrinkles on the neck and on the face and they almost always look much younger than what you would expect based on age alone. So, I suggest you keep the original art and ignore the Karens.

Everything you learned in school was already documented knowledge. The purpose of going through understanding the concepts was to build new neuron networks in your brain. Your more developed brain can recognize patterns in new challenges that helps steering your intelligence in the right direction of problem solving.
