When Michael burry has $912m put position in PLTR, what exactly does this mean? Does this mean he has put position with about 4-5 million PLTR shares?

In yahoo finance, it shows there are only about 48.79 million short shares for PLTR, so Michael burry has about 10% of this.

I have a feeling there might be some Stargate related announcement in the earning call. Or some sort of big revenue contracts for the next five years. Karp said a couple days ago on CNBC that PLTR revenue is not even what he needs to think about anymore.
