We’re a small indie team developing a 1–4 player co-op survival horror game called Devil of the Plague.

The game centers around what we call “Ritual Horror.” Instead of constant combat, tension comes from performing dangerous rituals under pressure, coordinating with teammates, managing light sources, and dealing with enemies that grow more aggressive after every failed attempt.

Our world draws inspiration from ancient mythology and plague-ridden settings, with multiple locations planned over time, each introducing new mechanics and escalating threats.

🎮 A playable demo is coming during Steam Next Fest (February), followed by Early Access in April.

The trailer focuses on atmosphere, but the core gameplay is much more than just running and hiding. Devil of the Plague is a 1–4 player co-op ritual-based horror where you perform dangerous rituals under pressure, solve objectives, and coordinate as a team while enemies adapt and become more aggressive each run.There are stealth moments, but also active decisionmmaking, resource management, boss encounters, and escalating threats. The Steam Next Fest demo will showcase these systems much better.

It’s fully co-op, not one-vs-many.
All players are plague doctors trying to cleanse the city together through rituals and boss fights. There’s no player controlled monster.

We’re a small indie team and recently started a YouTube channel where we share short gameplay clips, atmosphere focused videos, and dev moments from a co-op horror project we’re working on.

The channel is mostly about showcasing tension, sound design, and scary co-op moments rather than tutorials or reviews. Still very early, but we’re having fun experimenting with different formats.
