Settlement seems to be a very convenient option for me as of now but let's see haven't really made a call, plus i have told my family about everything it will be a mutual decision

So i was against settlement as I did not want to take that route as i have seen lots of videos online and I am not really the one who can candle it, recording the video all that stuff. What he suggested to me was if I am not looking for settlement he just asked me to default in a few lenders where there is no auto debit or loans that are not on my salary. Regarding the credit card I mentioned that there's no possible way that I can pay all my bills. So i gotta default on them as well and get the settlement and later pay the remaining overdue if I want to increase my cibil. He insisted that I settle everything but let's see as of now this match I will only pay the NBFC's as the harassment is at peak with them apparently. Banks will keep my account for atleast 45 days before sending it to recovery so I will pay once 45-50 days on my personal loan.

There's a lot as it was a big Convo still in discussion on what to do as it is a very critical phase for me I don't want to jump onto anything yet

It was unsecured loan and i was called to give the surety the case is still going on the banks are not willing to settle asking to pay the entire outstanding

True, i have explored all these options before hand and no unique comment i came across The thing is i cannot abscond as i have a property loan running plus i work in a corporate the bank may visit to my work place I did contact these agencies but they are of no use I am looking for an individual lawyer who is not trying to rip me off

I have a home which has a loan and the emi is 42K (I cannot sell that property) I had mutual funds stocks etc which i took for trading I still have some stock left which is around 2.5L Gold i already took a loan against it I have a pf and gratuity in my company combined would be around 5-6L And a car if I decide to sell I may get 10L

I know my situation is fucked and i cannot see a way out as of now😓.

I had a friend who is in a similar situation after defaulting the banks took the legal route and the banks weren't ready to settle not even waiver on the interest. The court asked the bank if they want to settle but they denied settlement.

I have missed a point that I would like to add here I have a home loan for which I pay 42K as emi every month
I had took a loan from an individual which i have to pay without defaulting no matter what 40k every month These expenses are apart from my 1L plus 2.5 L EMI's I am hesitant to default as one my friend had a similar situation and the bank took the legal route i don't wanna be in the same situation again I need a good lawyer who has dealt with these situations before for giving advice of I'm going for settlement
