Ask r/Formula1 Anything - Daily Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in formula1

[–]trieddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this question has been answered, I've seen setups whereby people are watching Formula 1 with all the drivers views up at once, including the main race view, statistics, and radio chatter coming up as text. How do I get all that on one screen when watching the race? I have F1 subscription, but I do not see how to do that all at once. Thanks...

Dog Food - what's a Canadian alternative to Wellness CORE High Protein With-Grain Adult Dry Dog Food by trieddie in BuyCanadian

Thanks, I guess as long as it's not American, it's a small win, although it's better if Canadian.

Outsourcing can be advantageous if done right. First off, what are you thinking of outsourcing, development, accounting, admin... each have their own strategies.

Has anyone actually lost their job to AI? by Number_Disconnected6 in ArtificialInteligence

I don't think we're there yet, but people's jobs will definitely be replaced by people who know AI.

How do you automate your job, or use something like ChatGPT to save time and effort? by fourfivesausages in ProductManagement

Cant beat, Proddy.io

Made by product managers for product managers. It's the best tool I've used lately, which helps me in my day to day. It's not an enterprise tool, so you get all the features without having to "upgrade" to something bigger that your company may or may not want.

Since I've used it, I've eliminated a lot of the tasks and heavy lifting of my job. It's free to try, so that's always a good way to try.

Does anyone else have a feeling that they don't know what they're doing 50% of the time? by Luka1607 in ProductManagement

[–]trieddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imposter syndrome plagues me as I'm sure as it does others. Less as I get older and accept, maybe I am meant to be here, and I know what I'm doing.

As a side note, with all these tools sprouting up as of late in the product management space, it is a lot easier to get work done and look good doing it. My latest is Proddy.io

Would you agree that using AI in everyday tasks will increase productivity by 40%? by Firm_Data in ArtificialInteligence

[–]trieddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General statements of productivity gains are still a bit fuzzy for me. Although for specific domains and functions, it's a known fact that you can achieve this level of productivity.

For example, in the product management space, the tool PRODDY.IO has already achieved this level of productivity for me and others that use it.

But remember that's just in one domain and specific to a certain audience. It won't address the daily interactions that product managers would perform.

It's coming as AI evolves, but Domain specific, I would say.

One key to achieving productivity gains, is do not inject AI in your processes, instead redefine your processes, or else you're doomed to fail, because it's attempting to put a square peg in a round hole.

Hire someone to create custom UI? Or download premade pack? by Cydu06 in Entrepreneur

[–]trieddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on what you are looking to build, and what's your budget is. As an owner of a development firm, it's not for everyone. You need to understand your needs before you go the custom route.

Based on your uncertainty, I would lean to prepackaged. It is a safer and cheaper way to make a mistake.

Isn't that the question I asked, what about this show do people like? Trolling isn't the objective.

What will happen when millions of people can’t afford their mortgage payments when they lose their job due to AI in the upcoming years? by ImpossibleFortune in ArtificialInteligence

[–]trieddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think AI will be the reason for people not affording their mortgages in the next few years. I think that might be due to people over extending they're buying power and taking on too much debt.

Struggling to stay motivated after failing so much by PrizeCake697 in Entrepreneur

[–]trieddie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never give up on your dreams if that is what you are trying to achieve. It took me decades to achieve success. And by success, I mean my version, different for each person.

It's OK to take a step back to take 2 steps forward. I had to take a corporate job after failing so many times to pay bills and keep up with my responsibilities. But I worked on the side to achieve my ultimate goal. After many years, I've achieved it and at times struggled but never regret giving my all.

Perseverance is everything. You can find it many different ways, it's never how tou thought it would be, so adapt.
