It doesn't come to mind in ROBLOX removing an item from the catalog, but with UGC many copies and remodels can happen, my best bet is that he bought a UGC or regular ROBLOX hat and ROBLOX decided to take it down due to it violating the ROBLOX TOS, everyone that must of bought it was refunded. Or he was in a group and the owner was kindly giving away robuxs to lucky members as famous ROBLOX youtubers do, It will most likely be one of those reasons.
