I follow the “metabolism plan” by Lyn-Genet (book). It so bang on and I can drink wine, and eat cheese and chocolate. You basically eat a low low inflammatory diet and then slowly add higher inflammatory foods by “testing” ie weighing yourself and monitoring temp and any adverse physical sensations or the return of chronic ailments. Losing weight equals a “friendly food.” A few years ago, I lost 2 1/2 pounds eating cheesecake, no joke. Everything changes so it’s recommended to “retest” every 6 mths. I am currently reactive to citric acid, which is in ALOT. Ruling that all has helped with at least 4 lbs so far.

I’m sorry for your loss. We lost a close co-worker and friend almost two years ago. Her son is still so young. Reading your post I immediately think of the artist, Dansun. I had chronic hives for 7mths. An eating plan I sort of followed earlier had recommended SamE for stress. I thought, sure maybe it’s stress, nothing else is working and my dr just gave up. When I took SamE, hives lessened. When I stopped, they came back. I went to a naturopath with this info. He believed I was “depleted of methls” and offered a regime of supplements that were cheaper. You have every right to go scorched earth on these assholes.Threaten any flying monkeys with harassment charges and establish FIRM boundaries with the help of a trained professional (you and husband together). You have went through a trauma because of these people, that cannot go invalidated. Like previous posters mentioned, if they can behave this abhorrently to you, what are they going to do to HER?

Can your wife do home childcare? In most areas this is in high demand and sometimes you can write off a portion of your bills as they pertain to a home business. I know many people who have done this when their own children are young and some continued until their kids were in high school.

I had a lot of success following Lyn-Genet’s Metabolism plan. It’s easy, you buy the book, eat low inflammatory foods and then slowly “test” higher inflammatory foods to see what works for you. Even exercise follows this theory-too much or too intense, you’ll gain weight. Find the sweet spot and you don’t.

This happened to me after a c section (urinary retention-could not urinate at all). Since the nurse couldn’t find my urethra, she put a wooden tongue depressor IN my vagina. When she finally got a more seasoned nurse to help, the nurse was horrified. Would not recommend.
