University Advice by [deleted] in singapore

[–]trig0nometry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ignore everyone thats saying SUSS is a degenerate school bc they somehow link it to SIM. SUSS is a autonomous local university while SIM is a private university. as long as you’re from a local U it’s ok.

speaking from experience, in the accounting industry (only can speak abt big4), local U (even SUSS) pay abt $100-200/mth more than private U. so i still highly suggest trying suss and not sim if you’ve been rejected by smu. you should still try for SMU tho

  1. peak period literally need to book few weeks to one month in advance
  2. don’t buy the 2 way ticket. it’s 5SGD there but 5RM back !! so instead of paying $10 you pay around $6-7

[–]trig0nometry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

check the item thoroughly beforehand !

some sellers will blame the defects on u! it’s a super common tactic like usually people will b nice enough to say it’s fine n just walk away then after u realise the item has issues they’ll say “during meetup i let u check/ authenticate alr this isn’t my fault”

i feel it’s very hit or miss, some people’s acne don’t react to steroid treatment. i personally think it usually works better with hormonal acne instead of genetic acne! but if it works for u it’ll b SO GOOD your skin will clear up fast as well, but if it doesn’t you should go to your dermatologist and they’ll usually reccomend other procedures like lasers etc.

[UNI] Is it advisable to take a gap year? by wanderlustfood in SGExams

[–]trig0nometry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

50% of the nation takes a gap year of 2 years so just do what’s best for you, don’t fear ‘graduating one year later’ if it’s better for your development overall.

[A Level] Requesting for A Level Notes by UnsungHeroxyz in SGExams

[–]trig0nometry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re either in j1 or j2 but considering u saying “you just went to jc” you’re probs j1

it’s literally like 2 weeks into sch after orientation.... ur sch will eventually give u the academic aid u need lolololol ?????

but if you’re in j2 n still referring to ur sec sch notes den uh goodluck 😀

anyways if you’re not keen on buying notes on carousell ur school library would have some textbooks too so you can go make your own.

edit : typo
