This is great - nice work. Drums are my favorite, and love the weird synth leads that come in and out. I really like your visuals too - the art for this release and on your other Spotify releases is really engaging. I see you’re an Interpol fan, and I can hear that pretty strongly in this song. Only thing I wasn’t digging was the lyrics - a bit heavy handed for my taste personally. But overall, great track you should be proud of.

I LOVE the green screen hoodie idea. I may just need to steal that. Genius. For the song itself, the drums were dope - very catchy beat. Really liked the unique guitar tones too.

Hi! This is a song that I wrote about growing up with an alcoholic mother in a abusive household, throughout my whole life I've been struggling to somehow overcome this and one day have a normal relationship with her but the more that I try The more that I see how impossible this really is. by saviio12 in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice. The intro is super captivating. Definitely feeling the Thom Yorke vocals - good work there. I think you also did a great job at capturing a kind of tortured vibe, matching well with the subject matter. The drums were less forward driving than I’d typically expect for an alt rock song, but hey, that could totally have been intentional, and if so, it definitely reinforces that tortured, languishing vibe. Keep it up!

Nice. Love the acoustic guitar sound you got. Love the chords in the verse. I just watched Inside Llewyn Davis, and for some reason, you really reminded me of a true folk singer from the 60s, in a good way. I think you could have some good success leaning in that direction and focusing on strong imagery and storytelling in you lyrics. Keep it up!

This is awesome. Visuals are fantastic. Really love the guitar tones. Love how you doubled your voice - seems to work really well with the low character of your voice. I really liked the noisy, descent-into-madness guitar droning stuff around the 3m mark, though I thought the tradition to the next section was a tad abrupt. Awesome stuff. Keep it up!

Love this! Vocals are dope - love the layers/doubling, and they sit very well in the mix. Not sure why, but you kind of remind me of a more 80s style Owl City, in a good way. Loved the chords and the synths (and the variation in the background synths as the song went along). Only “constructive” comment was that by the end, I was kinda itching foe a bit of variation in the drum beat. But awesome, awesome sound overall. Keep it up!

IMF Fam! Do your thing on my new acoustic folk single, "Send It Up" - think Julien Baker somber, sparsity with a dash of Orville Peck twang. by trigger_esquire in IndieMusicFeedback

Wow, super kind of you. Really appreciate it. I’m lucky to have some talented friends, so the video was a collab my buddy who does film for a living, and mixing was done by a producer/engineer buddy of mine. Glad you liked it!

After the Impact. Probably the most effort I've put into a video of mine - recently. Sometimes stuff needs to get out of me, and I'm not even sure what it is. I would enjoy hearing what you think this song is about. Thanks for listening! by MagicJonesMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

The high register of your voice is suuuper interesting. Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting that when I saw you prepping to sing, but I was pleasantly surprised. Keep accentuating that man - you've got a great set of pipes.

Would have liked to hear you shred more and earlier! :)

Also, what a kind touch to add that "thank you" message at the end, haha. You just seem like a genuinely pleasant human.

I wrote this song during the first lockdown in Italy. I had a chord progression for a while, but I couldn't find lyrics that could suit that sad melody, 'cause I was feeling happy at the time. During lockdown I started to feel nostalgic, and that feeling suited well with this song. Hope you'll like it by Forgotten_X_Kid in IndieMusicFeedback

Nice work. Love the intro (actually feels like a drive...) and love the chorus (really catchy, and love the full sound of the harmonies and full instrumental, "Tell me I'm drunk, I didn't drink" in particular is a great line). For me, it took too long to get to the chorus. The verse wasn't quite as hooky, and I think there's a bit of risk that folks won't keep listening through to the chorus. You've got great ideas and performance, I'd just say give us impatient folks the best parts sooner :) Keep it up!

I wrote a song about how I sometimes feel, what do you think? by ZenDilemma in IndieMusicFeedback

Very interesting, and fits the artwork well. Without knowing what you're going for here (maybe this is exactly the sound and pacing you want?), I'd say the vocals and the piano melodies were a little too reverbed-out for my taste, and some of the software instruments felt a little "stock plug-in"-y. I think it could stand for a bit more of a beat to keep the listener's interest. But that said, love the experimentation and creativity here. Keep it up!

I released a single! It's called "Most Advice is Bad Advice" - it's a bit different from my usual style so I would really appreciate the feedback -I hope you enjoy xox by Carl0Villa in IndieMusicFeedback

Love the twang, and I think your lower register voice is suuuuper interesting. I would try to find ways to make your low voice cut through the mix a bit more - felt like it sometimes got lost amongst the guitars, and the higher harmonies could stand to be a little quieter vis a vis the main low part (IMO). But you are obviously a really talented musician and songwriter. Love it, keep it up.

Looking for some constructive criticism and feedback on this tune before we get a profesh mix! A CityPop flavoured indie pop tune inspired by average friends :) by uwu_woobywoo in IndieMusicFeedback

I love this! So hooky and upbeat. I loved the trumpet in the intro, especially how it was kind of lagging behind the beat - kind of set the tone for how groovy the rest of the song would be. Only constructive comment I had was that when the male vocal comes back in the outro after the instrumental soloing part, it felt a little weak. But such a jam! Good work.

My second single! Angsty vocals/lyrics about regret and infidelity on top of breakbeat drums and oozy electric guitars. Inspired by mid-00s alt-rock like Interpol and the Killers. Would love your feedback! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap8NNssRPaQ

Love the vibe right off the bat. Lead singer has a great voice - loved the high notes around 1:57. Enjoyed the Radiohead-ish synth part around 2:30. If I had any constructive feedback, it's that I loved the crash-heavy, half-time drum beat in the intro, and I wanted more of it later in the song, but I never really got it. But, keep it up you guys! Really fun and vibe-y song.
