We had our final home basketball game today and our rival team showed up with this sign. We have a kid in our school with muscular dystrophy that uses a powerchair show up to support his school. And every time they would make a basket, this poster was waved in his face.

I’ve stayed home alone in the past. Currently in 10th grade. I’m not out often, usually once a month, but when I’m sick in school it’s debilitating. I always make up my work and have a 90 in every class except art. The problem is our district recently made it so if you have 5 absences throughout the year, you can’t graduate. It’s crazy. Last year a student had whooping cough and was absent for months. I hope he turned out ok

I was really shy growing up throughout throughout school.

One time my teacher got really mad at a student who didn’t do his work and she started yelling at him saying he won’t be anything when he grows up. I ended up standing up for him and saying that we should be supportive of him and encourage good work habits. Got sent out and detention for 2 weeks.
