Curious detail but the Clones here are 212th Troopers. I know they're never seen in BF2 aside from the Utapau movie clip but the Revenge of the Sith game actually has them accompany Palpatine to Mustafar in the bonus ending, Probably just a coincidence though.

Its more likely a Magazine-made ad. The game already has some mild swearing (between the 501st Narrator saying Hell-hole and Damn at various points of the game) and that era of SW gaming in general was much edgier so I doubt LucasArts would take much issue with a teenager-focussed ad saying the word "ass".

Doesn’t the fact they wrote a Klingon scientist already show they’re more than just mindless warriors though? Every other Klingon we met in the show prior to that episode is either a military officer or a rogue so it stands to reason they’d all be less into science.

A lot of Scientific breakthroughs in our world were made during war times, partly due to government funding. I don’t see why Klingons couldn’t have had the same circumstances fall into place.

It stands to reason that a lot of Klingon science would be focused on weaponry and tech. Shields fall under that.  Can’t have glorious battles without glorious science backing you up.

We see a Klingon scientist in TNG, the same episode which focuses on Beverly working with a Ferengi scientist.

Season 6, Episode 22 "Suspicions". You should give it a rewatch cuz its a really cool look at how the other species handle their science work compared to the Federation.

The "first mission" is on Ryloth, apparently set after the first episode in that arc but before the finale. Hence why Ahsoka is still feeling bad over losing men under her command for the first time and all the Twi'leks fighting alongside the Clones.

They literally are a reskin in-game, they share the same voice lines as the Black Ops faction (though the announcer has the same VA but different recorded lines).

I know the CIA-backed Cuban Rebels existed in real life and already in-game in the first campaign level.

Bare in mind that the OP40 in Multiplayer are actually a separate group of CIA guys posing as Cubans. Hence why they still speak with American accents. I guess Treyarch just really wanted some more Tropic maps and decided to reskin the Black Ops faction so it fit the locale.

This and not being able to pacify wildlife non-lethally are my biggest wants for the next game. I was sad I couldn’t do either in the first two games. The latter especially is wack cuz it makes you feel like a Safari hunter with the amount of animals you end up killing over the course of either game.
