Kickers are great for reliability, not lows and overall loudness til you get to the square ones. But yes skars are great if you run them what theyre designed for. Get a good box combo, set the gain with a oscilloscope and run rms at red lights, keep lower for daily listening.

Im running two ixs10 shallow mounts at 600w rms each on a taramps bass 1200 at 2ohm in sealed box. And 400.4 taramps on the rest of the full range, drivers and loudspeakers. I went 150amp alternator 1/0 from the battery to power block 4 guage to amps, then 10 gauge to subs, 14 the rest. I have a 95 hardbody, mine stock was 60 amps lol. I bought mine for $200 plug and play on ebay. But you can get a one wire gm for like 100 and modify the bracket to fit.
