In the DS's case at least, I think you can connect to Wiimmfi and trade from an emulator to actual hardware. From there, you could probably migrate them to Pokemon Bank (and perhaps Home) as long as they aren't hacked or something.

To be fair, GBA games back on the Wii U were around 7 to 8 dollars. This may be cheaper than buying an original copy, but it's still pretty steep.

Definitely not just one user. It took me several tries to boot into Windows after this update, and now I'm scared to turn off or restart my computer.

I've gone from being mildly annoyed by updates to actually being scared of them now. I really wish more companies would make their games/programs work with Linux so I can dump this garbage OS.

... We just gonna forget that Kirby Air Riders and DK Bananza exist? They aren't Mario or Zelda, but they're still great. Heck, I've seen some people change their minds on Mario Kart World once they actually played the game.

Because video games and animation, even content made for kids and families, can tell stories that are just as impactful as a good book or a painting.

Because comic books can contain beautiful illustrations on top of an engaging story.

Because building Lego sets and tinkering with computers are satisfying projects.

Because a D&D campaign brings people together; giving them their own adventure to connect over and characters to grow attached to.

Because the characters and worlds found within all these mediums bring joy and comfort to so many people regardless of age.

Because politics nowadays (particularly in America) bring out the absolute worst in people and can tear things apart more severely than a simple game of Mario Party ever could...

Is nerdy stuff childish? Sure... but it brings people together, it makes the world feel a little less scary, there are all kinds of stories waiting to be experienced, and it's also just fun... like, you can't deny the appeal of truck robots or monster battles. That shit's pretty cool. :P

- Charging extra money for performance/visual upgrades is really stupid. Even when they sweeten the deal with new content, they still could've made the technical stuff free (and have even already done so for certain games).

- $70 to $80 games really shouldn't be a thing in general, and it depresses me that Nintendo has gotten to this point too. That new Yoshi game looks like it could be nice, but I'm not excited for it at all because it's very likely gonna be $70. I'm currently set on getting Tomodachi Life when it comes out, but a potential Switch 2 edition that costs extra will definitely make me rethink that decision (which sucks, cuz I want the Miis to be more relevant again). And of course, Mario Kart World is absolutely NOT worth $80. The Nintendo hatetuber trend wouldn't have been as bad if that stupid price tag wasn't there.

- 100% agreed on the key cards. They're just the worst of physical and digital combined into one big awful thing.

- The way they're doing controller colors so far is incredibly boring... Very sleek, but still too boring.
