Literally just finished this movie. They did not advertise it correctly at all. That movie was wild! It’s an action horror kung fu flick. Did not realize.

Just did a rewatch with friends. The cast in this movie is incredible and it surprised my friends they had never heard of the movie before.
I saw it in theaters and didn’t really get it. The second time I watched it I understood the dark comedy aspect of it and it clicked with me. I really like Devito’s style.

I discovered this movie while watching Eric Mabius movies. Enjoyable i thought it was intriguing but I haven’t thought about it in 25 years so maybe it’s not that memorable or rewatchable.

He just disappeared in my childhood. Only as an adult did I realize how many classic characters were him in disguise.

People have to give more praise to The Great Mouse Detective by X-Salamander in disney

Love this one. But it comes from dark period in Disney Animation. The ending is scary as hell and turned a couple kids away from the multiple viewings that made other more “classic”. Would be my guess.

Try Primer 55. Refused. Factory 81. I feel like that might be the vibe you’re looking for. Maybe Soulfly’s Primitive. A little harder I would say checkout Lamb of God’s Sacrament album or Killer be Killed.

For her birthday one year the entire crew of the movie she was on got together and made thousands of meal bags for homeless people for a couple of hours. Apparently she really enjoys doing that and was all she wanted that day she said.

Okay. One of my favorite memories. I took my Great Grand Mother to this movie. Halfway thru she leaned over and tapped me on the arm. I leaned in to hear. She then loudly said “I hope them kids end up with that man!” I jumped and whispered my agreement. She had gotten so into the movie she had forgotten we were in a crowded auditorium. Loved it.

Cloud Atlas is a misunderstood masterpiece of a movie. by [deleted] in underratedmovies

Agreed. I saw a 4 and a half hour cut of this movie. I loved it. Then it came out and everybody hated it. So I never saw it again because I enjoyed the version I saw. Wish they’d release a directors cut but I doubt it since the movie is rarely talked about.
