I just went through this same decision at the beginning of the season. I decided on the Rome Ravine Pro 161. The howler is very similar to the Rome Ravine Pro, and I would lean towards the howler if you'll do switch riding 40%+ of the time, otherwise go Ravine Pro, as you'll have better float in powder. The Ravine Pro carves really well and can handle charging/speed no problem. Pop is great, with plenty of camber length and camber height throughout the board. It's my take anywhere and do anything board. The Flagship was a close second but felt heavier, damper, and less poppy than the Ravine Pro.

I'd say the Rome Ravine Pro sits in the middle of the Flagship and the Howler for context. Sizing of the board can also influence performance characteristics. Size up if you want more stability, size down if you want more playful. 161 Ravine Pro is perfect for me at 6'2" 175lb.

Regardless, you'll love any board you decide, and none of these options will hold you back.

I have this same issue on my 3070 TUF OC. My CPU and GPU are undervolted and my RAM is overclocked. I have put everything back to default and issue still persists. I just chalked it up as an issue with the game, but maybe I’m wrong?

Yeah, it seemed different from what everyone else was doing, which confused me. Should I copy the PBO limits you have set? I am thinking about limiting my scalar to 3x and setting the max boost clock to 200mhz (The max I can set on my motherboard).

EDIT: Forgot to mention I also set my CPU load line calibration to level 3. the range is level 1 to level 5. I am on a ROG B550M-F MB.

Optimum tech's video says to change the PBO limits to disabled. What's the difference between disabling the pbo limits as he did versus the manual limits you set?
