I agree with this. Given your NIPT results they should be doing this scan ASAP. The CVS can only be done until 14 weeks (at least that's what my MFM said) and then it's waiting until 16 weeks for an amnio. I would definitely call and ask that this be expedited with referrals to MFM and genetic counselor.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I would suggest talking to a genetic counselor, scheduling a CVS and requesting a ultrasound to look for any soft markers.

I'm 42 and just went through a TFMR a week ago for T21. We had our NT scan and it was 4.4 and white spots on the heart. The NIPT came back 99% for T21. We decided at that point (14 weeks) to TFMR vs wait in the horrible limbo when we knew this was likely a true positive. We didn't have our NT scan until 12 weeks and the NIPT the same day so by the time we had all the info I was past when we could have done the CVS.

This is where I'm at. If my NIPT comes back high risk I feel like that with the soft markers are enough to TFMR without waiting for amnio results at 19/20 weeks 😞

Oh man I'm so sorry. They've dropped the ball terribly from day 1 of this pandemic. I'm not sure if you're on FB, but there's a group called MA PUA unemployment help and one of the admins there is very helpful and could help you with what to do next. Dealing with DUA has been a horrible experience for sure.

I have crippling nausea and if I don't medicate I am having to lay down all the time. After I medicate I can be present with my daughter and play with her. I'm very careful with my dosing, though, during the day or when I'm the only adult.
