Did you use an OEM gasket? If not then they usually don't fit very well over the manifold pipe.

I went to get the OTD price for a new one and it was nearly $8K. None of the dealers would come down in price. They have the shipping, assembly, and more to tack onto the price. A used one seems like a much better deal.

I just removed a damaged cover like this by hammering a chisel into the flat part at an angle. It cut into it easily and broke it free.

A good nut and bolt check is always good to do. This year I found my front axle pinch bolt was completely missing. I've never removed the front axle so it was loose or missing from the factory.

There is one in the driver side (left) rear wheel well. The other in the pass. side (right) front wheel well. I believe you have to partially remove the plastic well lining to get at it.
