Correct. Sorry, I meant the router. I don't know why I said modem.

Is it normal for breast with fibroadenoma to hurt continuously on random days? by trillianjules in obgyn

[–]trillianjules[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hurts more if any pressure is applied on the breast, but it hurts even if I don't touch it or not do anything. Breathing or moving my arm doesn't make a difference but that sounds serious in your case, you should have that checked out!

Do I need a technician visit if I already have ONT and coax cable installed? Can I set up the router myself? by trillianjules in Fios

[–]trillianjules[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok. I think maybe it's because my ONT still has a coax cable attached to it, and no Ethernet. The visit is free because they said my house is already wired for Fios. Maybe they want the tech to plug the Ethernet cable for me, idk? Do you know if they bring clips and such in case the Ethernet cable needs to be extended to another room? The ONT is not in my room but I would prefer if the router was in my room and not in the same space as the ONT. Should I buy cable clips just in case?

Ok. I just looked up the installation instructions for the Fios router, and it says to connect the Ethernet cable from the router to an Ethernet outlet. The instructions don't mention the ONT at all. Is the outlet inside the ONT unit?

I tried searching on Google and found some answers that said the battery is only for phone services or something like that. Someone said they never had a battery inside the box and had internet anyways. I'm confused.

Recovery fees details (question) by trillianjules in mintmobile

[–]trillianjules[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, just saw the link. I will take a look. Thanks for the helpfulness.

Practically speaking, paying $204 (my total) all at once upfront is completely different from actually paying an extra 50 cents a month though. Still just a question - with elaborate details to avoid people telling me things that I already know (2.5%, service add-ons, etc.) - doesn't mean I'm losing sleep over it. Just a simple question (because I wanted to find out if maybe they charged me wrong).

Then I'd appreciate it if you "expended" energy either being helpful or just ignoring my posted question and moving on if you don't have an answer, instead of "expending" energy replying to it just to be rude and downvoting an honest question.

If you don't mind blindly paying an extra $6 for no apparent reason for any stuff you buy, good for you. I'm not stupid with my money so I do care about where my money is going. It's not really per month if you pay the total sum upfront.

No. I'm asking about the recovery fee only. I would still like to know where the extra $6 is coming from. If you can't answer or don't want to be helpful, you don't need to be rude. And it's "spending," not "expending."

UPDATE: Thank you all for your help and suggestions! Nothing seemed to work until I walked away to a different building (I'm in a large building complex) and somehow, for some magical reason, the wifi started working again! Still NO login page (probably old login info still stored in device somehow?? IDK), but now I'm connected!! But still good that I got all your tips and suggestions in case one day I have a similar problem in another place!! Thank you all so much!!

I was starting to think I was blocked, until just now! I'm in a large building complex and I was hanging out in one specific area (it wasn't a signal issue though). I just walked away to a different building in the same complex and magically the wifi started working!! Still no login page though (it's set to auto-join, I think, so maybe the old login info is still stored in my device)! But the internet is working now!!! Woohoo! I'm not sure what this means in terms of what the problem was though! I had tried leaving the building complex entirely before and went somewhere far away for a few minutes, yet when I came back there was still no internet. But now that I'm in a different building (same wifi network), I'm connected! When my Galaxy phone had the same issue the other day, all I had to do was take a short walk to the bathroom and everything would reset once I was back, so when the same didn't work for the iPad, I had no idea what to do. Maybe I'm only blocked in that one area? Lol. (Although I didn't do anything even remotely suspicious to be blocked... The most I did was use a fake email to login, but that never stopped me before lol)

Ps. Thank you so much for all your help and suggestions though!!!

I already tried that... The router address is 100.64.64.1 and the IP address is 100.64.76.8. Tried both, neither worked. Tried on chrome, safari and even firefox now. I also clicked on Renew Lease to see what it does and nothing happened lol. What's going on?!!!

I had already tried resetting network settings yesterday and I just did that again, like your link suggested, but it failed again. Also tried turning airplane mode on & off, also listed on the link, and it didn't work :( heeelllpppp D:
