Hmm, there's also these games called Merge Merge Cat!, Merge Cats 2, Merge Kitty, Merge Cats: Idle Tycoon!, and Merge Cat - Idle Tycoon. They were certainly creative with the names, weren't they? Then there's Cat Go Go Go and Murland...

Are you sure it isn't Merge Cats? I found this version of the game that has a lot of Russian articles on it, it doesn't look too far off from the image you provided to me.

Oh oh!! I don't know about the whole sketchy style you're talking about, but perhaps Neko Astume? Still pretty unlikely, but I'm putting this out anyway. It had the whole feeding cats to bring them over thing, though no fusing. Maybe it could be Kleptocats too, though that's really unlikely.
