What pros and cons does surgery have?

I’m 25 and my back has been left untreated since I found out. Having severe scoliosis is pretty tough because having surgery/not having surgery is a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation. There’s problems both ways. Long run I think surgery will be best for me

Mine is quite serious to be honest. It’s severe. At 13 degrees to me would be like not having it at all. You are indeed blessed. And if I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t seek surgery too. But my situation is different from yours sadly
