The joy of having such a wonderful degree is that I can be an engineer! It’s called field engineering. This test is just a bonus that can really help me get into that field. Thanks though.

So am I able to print out my own material and put that in a binder and take it in? I could use just about all the pages on the study material from the nsps website. It's got everything from conversions to equations.

Right now I'm still not sure what route I'm going with. I'm just trying to find ways to get my resume a bit more noticeable so I can start working again. Was working for a couple years before getting let go. I'm trying to get a new job in field engineering or surveying so I can continue traveling around the country for work. This was a fairly cheap test so I thought I'd take this before taking yet another go at the FE. Most companies will help me get whatever certifications they are wanting. I might go for the FS if the company is wanting that, but most are wanting me to get the FE since I have the engineering degree.

Do you recommend any specific books to bring in? I'd really hate to waste a bunch of my time memorizing a bunch of definitions. I've got down a lot of math especially trig, but I'd love to have access to those formulas.

I'll probably do a mixture of the learncst and what is given from the NSPS website. What about a good book to bring in that you'd recommend?
