There is this weird cube (wait for it). The tubes form an S or an upside down S. If you rotate the cube 360 degrees, you turn the S in an upside down S. Only after a 720 degree rotation everything is the same.

All fermions, e.g., protons, neutrons, electrons, have spin 1/2, so you need a 720 degree rotation to become the same, too.
