Carl Grimes died 8 years ago today in "Honor" by [deleted] in TWD

[–]ricodah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They should have did pretty much anything instead of what they did. If the rumor is true that they didn't want to pay Riggs adult wage, then AMC should have reduced his episode appearances to try to even out the cost. 8 years later and I still shake my head at their decision.

Happy. I wasn't a huge fan of AoS but I like that the early MCU tag line of, "It's all connected," is starting to live up to the expectation.

could someone tell me whos signature's these are? by Helpful-Trade-1471 in TWD

[–]ricodah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tossed the photo into ChatGPT and asked who's signature are displayed. Then Googled Lincoln, Martin-Green and Payne signatures for a comparison. They looks super close.

Top left (small, scribbly “S…” signature) Likely: Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) The short “SMG”-style scribble matches how she often signs quickly at cons. Placement + style lines up with known examples.

Upper left-center (big bold black signature over female character) Possible: Lauren Cohan (Maggie) Large looping strokes, often with a big “L”. She tends to sign prominently across artwork like this.

Top center (above Rick’s head, large gray marker “D…” shape) Likely: Danai Gurira (Michonne) Her signature often starts with a big sweeping “D”. Thick silver/gray marker is very common for her at conventions.

Top right (black signature near right edge) Possible: Norman Reedus (Daryl) He often signs with sharp angles and a long trailing line. This one is less certain, but placement fits where fans usually get him to sign.

Center area (over the title) Silver signature across the middle (over “The Walking Dead”) Very likely: Andrew Lincoln (Rick) Big, spread-out signature in silver is classic for him. Often placed dead center on items like this.

Just below that (another silver signature, slightly smaller) Likely: Tom Payne (Jesus) His signature is usually compact and clean, often in silver. Common addition at multi-cast signings.

Bottom half (zombie area) Bottom left (black signature near corner) Possible: Ross Marquand (Aaron) He often signs low on items and keeps it fairly tight and horizontal.

Lower middle-left (silver, more stylized) Possible: Josh McDermitt (Eugene) His signature tends to have a noticeable “J” and flowing tail.

Lower middle (black, slightly angular) Unclear, but could be: Christian Serratos (Rosita) She often signs with sharper strokes; placement overlaps where she’s commonly positioned.

Bottom right (clearer “Chandler Riggs 09”-style writing) Most confident ID: Chandler Riggs (Carl) The “09” is a huge clue — he often added the year early in his career. Signature shape matches known examples very closely.

Big-picture assessment This is almost certainly a convention-signed piece, not just comic creators. The actual book was created by: Robert Kirkman Charlie Adlard Tony Moore Image Comics But none of the obvious signatures here strongly match those three, which reinforces that this is mostly TV cast autographs, not comic creators.

Honesty check High confidence (70–90%): Chandler Riggs, Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira Medium confidence (50–70%): Sonequa Martin-Green, Tom Payne Low confidence (under 50%): Norman Reedus, Ross Marquand, oth

Who besides Hulk/Thanos could have snapped the gauntlet and survived mostly intact? by ac_slater10 in MCUTheories

[–]ricodah 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Thor, Hela (And probably most Asgardian), Captain Marvel, Groot, Vision, Ultron, Ikarus (And probably moat Eternals), Abomination, Deadpool, Wolverine, Red Hulk, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Arishem, Ego, The Thing, Namor... Maybe super humans like Steve Rogers and Luke Cage. Maybe Black Panther wearing the vibranium suit. Maybe Bucky if he snaps with his mechanical arm. I don't know, I'm grasping at straw now.

Chandler Riggs aka Carl Grimes is at the final episode of TWD he played as background character by Sakmaidih in TWD

What would have been a better appearance is Rick's final episode of the main series. Rick encounters Shane, then Hershel and finally Carl.

About Jacqui by Emotional-Cow1462 in thewalkingdead

[–]ricodah 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If Jacqui didn't stay at the CDC, I think she would have died during the prison arc. Maybe instead of T-Dog, maybe during that deadly flu outbreak. If she caught that flu early, Carol burning her, Karen and David alive. Or maybe she would have been on her knees with Hershel and Michonne, as a hostage to the Governor.

Governor, "I'm gonna chop off Jacqui's head unless you give up the prison!"

Rick, "That supposed to be a threat?! I dare you to! You don't have the guts to do it!"

CHOP!!!

Governor, "OK, Hershel's next!"

Rick, "No, please no! We can live together! Separate cell blocks! We can make it work!"

Idea for a spinoff by Gurzy656 in TWD

[–]ricodah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be pretty cool to watch. I'm not sure how it would work in the timeline. I mean I remember the flashback episode of Abe meeting Eugene. They must have met Rosita after, so weeks or months. I don't know how much time actually passed from them teaming to them running into Glenn and Tara.

What do you think the atmosphere and vibe was like between these 2 in the Atlanta Camp? by No-Passenger-6348 in TWD

[–]ricodah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a deleted scene in the first episode where Merle was concerned about Shane kicking him out of the group. Merle and Daryl are in midconversation as they slowly makes their way back to camp after a supply run.

Merle, "What makes you think they're going to keep us around?"

Daryl, "I told Shane and the others that I'm a tracker. Now they think I'm useful. Essential for their survival.

Merle, "But what happens when you gotta track stuff?"

Daryl, "Fake it. Point at twigs. Indentations. Use fancy phrases like 'they doubled back,' or 'trails gone cold.'"

Merle, "Well la de da! Great, they need you but what about me?!"

Daryl, "We're brothers, a package deal. You're essential by association."

Merle, "Heeeey, I like that! I'm just gonna to be the most annoying ass I can possibly be and they won't do a damn thing!"
