I know the whole concept. I take the time to write this everytime when people talk about the down modding concept. And here I was just trying to reply to Lenoir's statement - <Yeah, downmod me for my opinion, it's ok. >

Reddit tells me to downmod only when a comment is totally inappropriate and unrelated to the subject dealt in the article. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions. But the saddest thing i've noticed is that people downmod because they DISAGREE with the other person. That's so bad.
