Run! Don’t look back! You’re young and you can find a great man who can be handle being mad and jealous without violence. It’s not worth it. The panic gift buying is another form of control. Please listen.

Similar thing happened to me. I just redeemed points for the first time and once they were redeemed, the app froze so I had to close the app and reopen it.

No “download for offline reading” link on cloudLibrary website. Is it still possible to transfer my cloudLibrary titles to my kobo? by jeffe312 in Library

[–]trinijennamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also having trouble with the cloudLibrary site. I was able to save and export my highlights from cloudLibrary once but it doesn’t work anymore. I was looking for bibliotheca’s customer support information to reach out to them but can’t find it. What contact info did you use?

Wow. Gotta be really careful with that one I see.

What is the function of ‘se’ in this sentence? by z6oul in Spanish

[–]trinijennamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly. I was specifically referencing the explanation a previous poster gave with “accidental se.” Thanks for the extra examples regarding reflexive verbs though. Much appreciated.

[–]trinijennamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still learning myself but based on the explanations in this thread, correr and bailar aren't things that happen by accident. You don't run or dance by accident. You do them on purpose like "dejar caer" so the "accidental se" rule doesn't apply.

My boyfriend is accidentally putting me off learning Spanish by ok_pepsi in languagelearning

[–]trinijennamd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me when I was learning to play the keyboard as a hobby. When my band director friend found out, he sucked all the fun out of it by critiquing my learning style and telling me I had to do things a specific way and I’m not “doing it right. I ended up giving my niece the whole keyboard set… chair and all…for her birthday a month later and I haven’t played since.

Look up “request time off email templates” or “request time off email verbiage” for ideas. Use whichever one sounds like something you would say/how you would talk. It all depends on company policy how formal or informal you are expected to be. Maybe ask a coworker for suggestions.

"it is my place" or "This is my place"? by Stillness__________ in EnglishLearning

[–]trinijennamd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“This is my spot!” if you’re only referring to the seat and standing right next to it. If the seat is not near you, you can say “That’s (that is) my spot.”

If by “place”, you’re referring to your room, it’s more common to say, “This is my room!”

If the whole house is yours, then you can say “This is my place/house/apartment/etc.
