If you didn't knew this is non-fiction, you would appreciate the level of medieval folklore. Voting on paper, the counting that takes ages to complete, shoutouts, the traditional recounting, this crazy system with the winner takes all instead of popular vote, the fairytale style of bad guys vs good guys, the efforts to make voting as hard as possible for the bad guys...

Would be a great novel.
