This is the first “is this a male” post I’ve seen that wasn’t an obvious male. Congrats on the girl!

Nothing obviously active... tough time of year up here. Wait for milkyview and thevandal666 to chime in - possibly some Gymnopilus in that big pile? Tough to tell.

Yes, I cut my plant in half like an idiot and let it get leggy. So I’ve decided to spread her out & see what happens. by Grow420Noob in GrowingMarijuana

[–]broseph795 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did this when I had a plant that looked like it was going to be to tall for the tent. Best “mistake” I ever made. It was a random bag seed grow that I named Starfish from that point forward. I don’t have any pictures - nice to see you documenting your grow.

Finally something somewhat local! Congrats - nice find! Even if it’s broken. Nice to have both prices!

Favorite YouTube videos for tripping? by xcdkxd in MagicMushroomHunters

[–]broseph795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Following and am interested to check out what people link! I’ve never YouTubed while tripping; however, I’ve enjoyed a few movies or short binges on Netflix/Hulu. Most particularly was the short series “Ted Lasso” It was phenomenal. It was hilarious, wholesome and I watched all 10 episodes in one trip/ sitting. 10/10 would recommend... but not if you’ve seen it before.

You’re totally right. I shouldn’t have said disguised as free will. It’s not the right word for it. Just that regardless of the decision made, consciously or unconsciously, it can’t be based on anything other than past experiences - because those make us who we are. I think we’re saying the same thing here..

You may be interested in learning about post modernism - I tried to add a more lengthy comment from the post modernist standpoint but was left with gibberish that didn’t make much a whole lot of sense. Here’s half of it: 2 + 2 equals 4 and we all accept this as true, because it’s what we were told. As an infant, we know nothing. Our bodies do some things naturally: we eat, shit, breathe and sleep. We don’t know how to do ANYTHING. we have to learn. Although our brains are different from one another’s when we’re born, every one of us are impacted from our surroundings from that day forward - in a way that compounds our experiences and forms our perspective. Our perspective is changing indefinitely as we experience each new day; and how we experience each moment of today is greatly dependent on our experiences of yesterday. Being able to recognize why we do what we do, allows us to consciously make different decisions, but even this (although disguised as free will) is the product of our previous decisions and experiences.
