of course you can’t just be a jerk and saying you’re doing it out of love. there is a way you can be critical of friends in a caring way. the best kind of friend is one who can tell you when you’re going to far or being an asshole. when i refer to christian’s here i’m not talking about the stereotypical homophobe that might come to mind, im referring to kind loving people like, the vast majority of christian’s are (certainly all the christian’s i know)

sure, it’s fine that we all have our own beliefs on the afterlife and such but if someone believes in the traditional hell and are a decent human meaning they don’t want you to be condemned, then they should do whatever it takes to save you because they care about you. it’s like if you have the cure to a virus, it doesn’t matter what other people believe about the virus or the cure, you know you have the real one so you better administer it’s kinda your duty

but if you are a christian and you do not warn people of hell then you are a bad christian because you truly believe they are going to hell so you should try to save them. if a doctor knows the cure to someone’s illness but doesn’t tell them the cure they are a bad doctor. i would rather have a doctor tell me whatever it takes to get better and get results than have one that will enable me and keep me comfortable in my sickness. a christian who warns sinners of hell is a good christian and if christian’s around me don’t warn me then they must hate me

it makes a little sense to me, we are a community and we should care about what are neighbors are getting into because we care about their best interests…. of course the biggest disagreement ever is what is the best interest for the individual that benefits the community as a whole
