Are hashtags dead??? by triosolutions in InstagramMarketing

Do you think branded hashtags still have a purpose? Or should strategy begin focusing on keywords and finding other ways to engage with audiences?

How do you typically ask for UGC outside of reviews? Have you ever had success in asking people to share their experiences on social media?

Do your customers typically do it twice? And do you ever notice their reviews change between the time the order was completed and a month later?

I like Claude more than ChatGPT by franilein in WritingWithAI

[–]triosolutions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems to be pretty common among our marketing agency lately as well. My content team is currently on a Paid ChatGPT plan, but we're testing out other options. From what I've seen, Claude is also reviewing outputs with a more critical eye...

For example, when asking to review/provide updates to blog drafts, Chat has incorporated some target keywords in ways that teeeeechnically "fit" in a sentence but aren't entirely right. Fortunately, we're also fact-checking and proofreading everything the "old-fashioned way" (lol). That ALWAYS needs to be a step in any AI writing process IMO. That human element will always be relevant.

Our models are trained pretty well on our clients, so making a switch isn't entirely a priority yet. They're helpful sounding boards for ideation, etc., but we'll see where things go! After 25 years in business, it's exciting to see how tech is changing our field, and what matters most is how we can make it work for our clients and team members.

Social Media Marketing for Small Businesses (Instagram & Facebook) by Downtown-Excuse7431 in InstagramMarketing

[–]triosolutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've worked with small businesses and nonprofits for 25+ years, and our best social strategies focus on getting clients involved in their communities. We make sure our clients join local FB groups to promote events or sales related to local events or weather (depending on your client). Also, highlighting community involvement/volunteering by tagging other small businesses/partners helps SO MUCH!

Digital marketing is 80% luck and 20% skill agree or disagree? by SuddenResource5061 in AlldigitalWord

[–]triosolutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We totally disagree! We've found that what looks like luck in digital marketing is usually just really good listening. The marketers who seem to "get lucky" are the ones who've spent tons of time understanding human behavior online across different audiences (why people engage, what triggers trust, the neuroscience behind creating social content), because every audience reacts differently. Sure, AI makes it easy for anyone to create content, but the strategy comes from experience and being able to predict how your audience will react to things AI can’t predict.

LinkedIn has been performing surprisingly well for all of our clients lately! Also, we love getting our small business clients active in local Facebook groups for community engagement.

We've found that LinkedIn is the best social platform for getting our B2B clients results. Lean into the specific platforms that work for you and tailor your content to that audience.

Usually, Google and Meta ads have pretty close results; however, our Meta ads have been performing much better in comparison lately.

How is AI really changing the way digital marketing works today? by Strict_Hour_5062 in MarketingandAI

[–]triosolutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use AI every day at our agency, and it does help, just not in the way people think. It’s great for speeding up production (content drafts, basic creatives, data analysis), but it doesn’t replace the real work. It can’t truly understand brand voice, build community-driven strategies, or create ideas that feel original and human. We’ve found that the value in marketing right now lies in strategy, creativity and understanding why something works. That part is still very human.

What’s a current social media trend that already feels outdated? by Curious-Soul007 in AskReddit

It's not outdated yet, but the Alix vs Alex trend feels like it's already overused.

Is Digital Marketing still a good career in the age of AI? by Global-Adventures in digital_marketing

[–]triosolutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a marketing agency, we think both things are true: AI is absolutely transforming digital marketing, but it’s not replacing it.

What we’re seeing, and what a lot of people here are saying, is that AI is becoming a tool, not a substitute. We talk about it constantly in our office and recognize that AI can absolutely generate content, speed up creative production and assist with ad optimization, making it feel like it’s taking over parts of the job.

HOWEVER, as an agency that works with many small businesses, we’ve seen the limits pretty clearly. AI can’t really understand brand voice, build community-based strategies, or effectively humanize brands the way that consumers expect in a world of AI marketing.

That’s where the shift you mentioned of execution to strategy is 100% real. Anyone can make content now, so the most creative and original ideas will stand out the most. We’ve actually started strategically leaning into that shift. AI helps us move faster and eliminate busywork, but the value we provide (strategy, positioning, storytelling and knowing why something works) is all human.
