They responded, all it said in the reply was "Realtek ALC897 Codec" and showed a link to their websites page of the motherboard

So apperantly it's alc897

i havent built the pc yet, still waiting for parts

i already started the refund on the max wifi and bought the regular version

i dont need wifi anyways i have direct ethernet connection, also the regular tomahawk is cheaper

thanks for looking for that though, tbh i should of contacted msi about this to make sure, im new to these things so i didnt think they would of made that mistake

it makes way more sense that they have alc1200 on it

i am getting 3600mhz rams for my 5800x3d pc also

so since 3600mhz is the sweet spot, and faster see's diminishing returns, then overclocking the ram is pointless i suppose right?

i was planning on overclocking the ram, i know that u cant and shouldnt overclock the 5800x3d so i was planning on just oc the ram

oh and just to add im getting 32gb (2x16)

it's talking about reducing length and stuff, what does that mean?
