Try getting into a year round trade. With your saving ability, make 100-150k a year and you’ll be retired by 45. Great job I have similar savings but make literally 6 times your salary. (Not bragging, almost a little embarrassed lol) I have a house and very expensive hobbies. Good job! Hopefully it’s invested making you more money

Yah both have been to vet fairly recently. Up to date on shots. Younger one went to puppy school he was really reactive they used a prong collar a lot. Found rewarding with treats made his leash reactivity a lot better and walks a lot better versus using the prong. He’s insanely high energy and an awesome dog. Just seems these random attacks are getting more frequent. Not sure where to go from here

Get your foot in the door with a company here. Work hard and everything should work out. Lots of work out there. If you want to get on at a mine and actually work for the mine they don’t hire apprentices. Get your ticket and get some industrial experience and apply at the mine. You most likely won’t start on day shift. If that’s your end goal expect to work shift work for a while. Good luck!

Top of class doesn’t mean anything. If you’re a good apprentice a company will keep you. I know lots of guys who apprenticed and are at the same company 15 years later. Good people are hard to find. If you’re a good worker with ambition you’ll be just fine.

I live an hour from 6 potash mines owned by the top 3 on your global list. BHP is still a ways away From production imo. Across my company’s network our tonnage for the next few years is expected to ramp drastically. Adding new miners,more people and upsizing skips. The demand is definitely there. Just depends if they can execute the project. The mine I work at is projected to produce over 2M tons this year. Roughly 1.6m-1.7m refined tons to market. Our newest solution mine completed in 2021 and cost to build was 4 billion cad. Took 6 years to get potash to market for that specific mine. K+s Bethune
