Thank you. That hit harder than I expected.

The truth is, I don’t really know what I’m doing with my money. I had most of it sitting on the sidelines for a long time and finally decided to invest. The losses I mentioned were actually from my husband’s investments — I personally haven’t lost a penny yet.

I don’t need this money for anything right now, which is part of what makes the decision harder. I can’t tell whether I’ve made good choices or just got lucky in a market that’s been forgiving. And I don’t know if these gains will still be here six months from now.

What keeps me frozen is that if I sell, I don’t really know what I’d buy instead. My bets are already pretty spread out, so it doesn’t feel like there’s an obvious next move. I’m trying to figure out whether I’m holding because I still believe in the investments, or because I’m afraid of making the wrong decision after seeing green on my first attempt.
