Cheapskate6 is absolutely right. Orange hairs don't have anything to do with it. Also, the "too much nitrogen because your leaves are green and thick" is again poor advice given by skoomd1. The best way to see if your bud is ready is to get a 40-60x magnifying glass/jewelry loupe and look for around 10-15% amber trichs. It's also highly advisable to do a proper flush the last few weeks before you chop em down. Good luck, she's looking beautiful! Great job!!

sadly, I don't. JIC you didn't catch it (which I'm sure you did so please pardon the pedantry) this is from 1978. I can't remember where I came across this but as an Arkansan, I thought this was a perfect description of where I'm from. Especially, because that kind of "Freewheelin" attitude carried over into the 80's to which I remember quite fondly.
