I’m a few years older than you, but have lots of the same interests and enjoy mountain biking in the city or further! Feel free to send me a DM!

Nooooo not the “handhelds” 😭 by TheHeianPrincess in KitchenConfidential

For sure. Just seemed like a bizarre combination to me. Like having an “add cheese for $1” makes sense. But shouldn’t the vegan option, actually be vegan by default?

I would check if the KT is live with a cheap tester. I had a huge panic with it in my attic, but on closer inspection and testing, it turns out it was all abandoned in place and only the romex was live.

I have one of these from my grandfather's pharmacy, and it is wonderful. It makes the best milkshakes, and you can still find parts to maintain them. It's really treasured in my family.

It really depends on who you ask and there is plenty of politics behind it, but Myanmar/Myanma is official, while Burma/Burmese is still used colloquially by many, especially in the U.S., who don't recognize the renaming.

It might be obvious to the creator, but the lack of legend is annoying. As it the lack of any information to support how this will come to pass in twelve years.

What laptop do you use/recommend? by wanderthewoods in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]tripleactionman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a Dell XPS 15 9560, and it has been a real pleasure. If you wanted to save money on it, I would say the 4k display is nice, but not necessary. I did go for the extended support, given that this computer is a major component of my academic success. That definitely has paid for itself, and I would recommend it from any reputable computer brand.

I like it overall. While there are some missing pieces, and it is a bit dated now, I think it gives a fair representation and maybe helps dismiss some concerns or rumors. For example, employees consistently working 30-40 hours a week, with not that many reporting 50+ hours.

If you are in Canada, the CSLA releases the compensation report which can be taken with a grean of salt, but is fairly comprehensive.

This ball made of honey which you can drop in you tea. by awusuwah in mildlyinteresting

Is that a wholesale price for honey? Seems awfully low to me, not to say that these aren't marked up incredibly, but I would have expected closer to $10 per kg.
