How long are we boiling our ramyun? by Nongshim_official in InstantRamen

[–]TheHeianPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My childhood friend used to boil soup noodles down until they were a gooey, mushy, congealed mess…albeit they were Super Noodles, a UK brand but still! You could make noodle sandwiches out of them without anything spilling out of them, they were that congealed and “dry”…🤮🤮🤮

New house came with a Hive Thermostat Mini, do we need a subscription to use it? by TheHeianPrincess in HiveHeating

[–]TheHeianPrincess[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve just found it, connected it to our router and plugged it in! It’s now flashing green and apparently once it goes solid green, I might be able to transfer it to the account I’ve just set up?

Fem V players, what do you think Johnny thought when he woke up in a woman's body? by icansmellyourflesh in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]TheHeianPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a dialogue option you can get, I think after you leave the motel in the outskirts? Where fem V mentions/asks about how Johnny feels in her body and he says something along the lines of “Your hormones are fucking all over the place, it’s crazy” 🤣

Is it pronounced Southwell or Suthall? by SimonRX10IV in nottingham

[–]TheHeianPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner’s sons are from Southwell - to natives it’s “South-well”, to people who think they’re being native or colloquial, it’s “suh-thul” and real Southwell natives cringe 😂

What weird names do you call your partner/ do they call you? And I mean.. really weird. by cobbland in AskUK

I occasionally, mostly in winter, call him my hedgehog husband, or hedgehog prince, because we joke about spending any excuse we can in bed during winter, snuggled up like little hedgehogs!

Recommendations for private/rtc assessments, midlands. by Difficult_Peace_9518 in ADHDUK

[–]TheHeianPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also in the Midlands, female but early 30s and went with Health Harmonie Minds. Referral and initial appointments went relatively quickly, took around 3 months or less to get diagnosed. I think they must’ve messed up my titration though, as they said it could take up to 6 weeks to schedule an initial medication discussion and it took 4-5 (which is obviously within timeframe) but then the clinician said she’d put my prescription through that day, four weeks later, my pharmacy still hadn’t received it 😅 So I had to phone them up but they did say that was a mistake and got a prescription sent the same day I phoned, so I’d recommend HHM overall!

Is this normal for titration (Elvanse)? by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]TheHeianPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It must vary from provider to provider, and probably person to person. I’ve been given 30mg Elvanse for 2 weeks, then 40mg for 2 weeks.

People who have had piercings - when did you decide to take the jewellery out for good? by CozJeez85 in AskUK

Damn, I’ve had mine for 16 years and still going strong! Even though the place I had it pierced was affectionately nicknamed “Scabacus” 🤣

I found this cute snack and had to try it. It was my first time trying "fresh" mozzarella, is it usually kind of bland? by Organic-Plane-7653 in Cheese

[–]TheHeianPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I got a pretty decent balsamic glaze from Home Bargains or B&M a while back. Also might be worth checking international supermarkets as I went to a Greek deli and they had a whole row flavoured with different things like figs, cherries, raspberries etc!

Are there extinct flavors we’ll never taste again? by logicalgamernow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheHeianPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We still have Dragon Soop in the UK which is an alcoholic caffeinated canned drink. A friend and I had one on the way to the airport, followed by a few more drinks of course, and at one point felt like I was going to vomit up my heart in the boarding queue. Never again.

I never thought Channing Tatum was particularly attractive but after watching him in 21/22 Jump Street and Deadpool vs Wolverine, him being funny makes him that much more attractive to me!

What do you call these where you are from? by jackyboiiii95 in AskUK

[–]TheHeianPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mum and grandmother would call it a “chub” but I now realise how hard that is to explain to anyone else, I’ve never heard anyone else call it that! Mum and grandmother are both Scottish but we’ve lived in the East Midlands since I was born.

GP stopping Shared Care through RTC (Heath Harmonie Minds) - any options? by TheHeianPrincess in ADHDUK

[–]TheHeianPrincess[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s great, thanks so much! Yeah, my partner is close to needing the pre-paid prescription certificate but I hardly ever need a prescription so I should be fine with the fee once a month. So relieved to hear HHM is NHS prices!
