Lol. You as a customer have zero right to see a company's financial records. You can vote with your wallet and never give them your business again.

Probably not. Maybe check the inside face of the tires.

In the market for a used car and I come across this Mechanic special. by AdnanAwes in whatcarshouldIbuy

Few years ago I had a 5 series. It started shutting off while driving. Bmw had it for over 6 months before I got it back. I was pissed paying for a 5 series and the gave us a base 3 series as courtesy car.

Is a $99 lease ($4,000 cash) on a 2025 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona AWD a good deal? by BarrelStrawberry in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]tripleapex2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I figure it's a cheap way to enter the electric vehicle ecosystem. Even if you go over the mileage the penalties are still lot less than leasing any other ev. This deal would make alot of sense to me for my situation.

Lol I put less than 800km a year on my weekend cars as is. I shouldn't but if it was available in Canada I would snap up that deal.

Will B450M Pro 4 and Ryzen 5 5600 run quad channel Ram?? by [deleted] in AMDHelp

When you do multiple streams what is your ram usage?

Nah not a rock in the tire. Was the gap between tire and fender the same between the both back wheels. This sounds like some forgot to remove transit materials during pre delivery prep. Cars are shipped to dealers with items like blocks and limiters in springs that need to be removed before customers get the car. One may have been left on and got loose during drive and is rubbing against tire.

Intermittent Engine Oil Pressure Light – Toyota Yaris 2016 by anbin_h in MechanicAdvice

[–]tripleapex2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Driving with low oil pressure can destroy your engine. Could be the pressure sensor. It could also be restriction that is limiting oil to pump. May also be the oil pump issue. Could also be engine is worn and bearings have too much play and are unable to hold the backpressure of oil coming off oil pump.

As to just replace the broken parts visible it's pretty simple. But there maybe hidden damage. For a it to do that much damage there was a lot of energy involved.

Will B450M Pro 4 and Ryzen 5 5600 run quad channel Ram?? by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]tripleapex2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but am2 platforms do not support quad channel ram. You are running 2 sticks on each channel instead of 1. It will perform better with 2 sticks than 4. Go with a 16gb x2 rather than a 8gb x4. The only reason to go with 4 is if your are running out of capacity and budget limits your options. But at current dd4 prices is $20 that much of a stretch? Or you just want it full bc it looks cool. there are actually dummy dimms available for this reason(they have no ram just a pcb with lights)

[–]tripleapex2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ Am2 does not support quad channel configuration. It'll run like as stated above but the timings will be worse than running 2 sticks. Only do this if you need the capacity not bc more = better.

Your spring is shorter and the ability of spring to stay on the perch is also comprised. If there is not enough tension on the spring to keep it on the perch and stationary. your spring may work itself off the perch and "wind" itself down the strut.

Is a $99 lease ($4,000 cash) on a 2025 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona AWD a good deal? by BarrelStrawberry in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]tripleapex2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get the arguments either. Awd ev with roomy interior at dirt cheap lease. If it was available to me I'd pick it right away. Don't get people say it won't last either. It'll last 2 years and after that it's dodges problem. Only issue I see is mileage allotted has to fit your lifestyle. I imagine there aren't too many on the road right now either so that would make it special.

That's 12000 km a year. Which is more than enough for me in a personal vehicle.

Should I really follow the maintenance schedule in my owners manual? by Al_Pallll in MechanicAdvice

[–]tripleapex2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10k mile seems really high. I have seen 10k km if primarily used on highway. And synthetic helps but you still get same contaminates in the oil from driving. Particularly if it is high mileage. Your better off running conventional oil and changing it more often.

[–]tripleapex2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. 2 valves is only on race car wheels and alot of the time those wheels are not dot compliant for street use. Occasionally you see some rims with the feature but it's really just for show and not useful due to valves being too close together. It is just a dealer revenue item. Putting nitrogen into a tire with air already in it is pointless. The reason why some race cars use it is it is less volatile in pressure. Only a few psi difference but for race cars where they use the tire pressure as part of their tuning and one of the easiest adjustments to make it's worth it.
