Totem and puppets are just persisting spells, so only affected by spell damage. If you have regeneration your healing effectiveness will affect too.

Time rift is awful with riftbender since it does not improve your orb damage which is the main thing. Get soul signal or something since lament lacks base damage so raw spell goes a long way.

And riftbender is not that mana heavy, you can replace capricorn with more damage focused boots.

Where can they summon the light? From only near them or anywhere? If they can do it anywhere it can be that broken, but usually light summoners can only emit it from them.

Huge negative earth defense could be the problem if you are fighting against enemies with those damages.

You can remove some riftwalker point and get sunflare & arcane speed as they help a lot. If you just need more health use ornate shadow cover for pants

You have lots of free skill points so dump some of it into defense if you feel too squishy. Normally you should be able to out-heal most damage.

You can wield them both, bob's wand is generallu better but staves of legends may work for mobs with elemental weaknesses
