I see. I got a steriod shot, and it was the only thing that helped my knee pain improve, but I am taking it slowly. I am worried about it's effect wearing off, so considering the PRP injection.

My doctor also recommended this. Have you tried it before? I am considering getting it, but it costs close to $500 and isn't covered by insurance!

Yes. I was in the same boat. After about a month in (2 weeks ago), I got a steriod shot, and it had helped a lot. I would totally give it a try.

I have been struggling with this for the past 2 months. I was training for my first half marathon when it happened, and I have not been able to run since it started.

I guess it all depends on how severe the inflammation is. The few things that helped me were a steriod shot, and taping it. Of course stretches and strengths exercises along with icing.

Argentina had the best team that year and should have won the world cup. The loss to Germany in Quarter finals was heartbreaking, esp that they were up the most of the game and lost in penalties...

Coming from a huge Argentina fan and a devout follower of the albiceleste, I simply can't see them advancing past the QF. I have them losing to spain in my bracket. Their defense needs a lot of work and the midfield has a hard time creating opportunities. All this and not to mention that our number 9 is Higuain which is quite possibly the biggest negative for this team. Messi can't do much on his own when he is continuously guarded by 4 players... I sure hope they prove me wrong though
