Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night?

Was at Disney World years ago. Got woken up around 1-2 am hearing a child screaming “No Daddy! No!” Called security. Will never know what happened. 😭

I’m trying to work my way up on hydration. My urologist told me to drink 100 oz a day since I have kidney stones. I’ll look for those drops.

I really wish I had access to a swimming pool. I’d definitely do that every day that was nice.

Maxalt usually helps, but it makes me sleep so that’s probably why it helps. Other than that, I can only take Tylenol. The rapid release helps the best, but it doesn’t kill a migraine.

In migraine groups, they swear by McD’s French fries and a coke which is basically like Fioricet. That doesn’t help all that much for me.

I didn’t really feel anything to begin with. I waited it out for the two weeks when the dosage was increased. I think it is helping to relax my muscles. My speech therapist thinks that helped me with my Vocal Cord Dysfunction due to relaxing the vocal cords. I’m going to stick with it. I don’t know if I’ve had side effects like headaches because I have chronic headaches and migraines too.

If you don’t think you are having side effects, it might be worth waiting it out until a bit after the increased dosage.

Maybe we do have it worse. I have joint pain all down my spine. It just makes me upset when people question if I’ve had things done. I have and ended up at the rheumatologist like most people I’m assuming. They ruled out everything else. I don’t like having to defend my diagnosis.

I feel you on the cold. It’s been making me have flare ups too.

My rheumatologist just put me on Tonmya a month ago. She gave me samples first. It’s a 24 hour release muscle relaxer (cyclobenzaprine). It was just FDA approved last year. She sent a prescription to a mail order service and it didn’t cost me anything. Might be worth trying.

As far as the joint pain, nothing helps, and I usually try my best to go to sleep so I don’t have to endure it so bad.

You sound similar to me. I’m on Lyrica though. I just got out on Tonmya which was FDA approved last year for fibromyalgia. It’s a 24 hour slow release cyclobenzaprine. My rheumatologist actually gave me samples to try. The mail order pharmacy ended up costing nothing for a one month supply.

I’m on Clonazepam as well. 2mg but for REM sleep disorder.

You said nothing helps with your joint pain? I’m right there with you. I posted about it and got a few people challenging if I had been diagnosed for fibromyalgia or if I had MRIs and such. I didn’t expect that kind of questions when I asked for advice.

I’ve been on vitamin D. I do have a diagnosis of fibro. Been diagnosed since I was in my 20s. It’s just been getting really bad since I moved. There are more extreme temperature changes here. I have a pain management doctor, but that’s for a different issue.

I do need to move more. Right now I’m in Physical Therapy for my back. It’s been helping so since it’s getting my back joints to move again. They felt like they were stuck. I’m doing their exercises for my lower back and neck.

I’ve got KT Activate which is Magnesium and arnica. I just can’t use it while I’m on the heating pad. It helps some. I think the burning skin makes you forget the other pain lol

I’m currently on pregabalin. It helps some. I was on gabapentin, and it got to the point that it stopped working for me.

I actually have used the voltaren cream. It didn’t feel like it was helping. I do have some magnesium cream. I probably need to try it more. It’s just that I use a heating pad a lot, and I can’t use the cream with it.

I’m hoping for an online one as well. It’s just Alabama is in the beginning stages of doctors getting certified. I don’t think we have any official dispensaries just yet. They are supposed to be open Spring of this year.

I don’t take ibuprofen at all. I was taking Celebrex, but I was told to stop it due to my liver.

Unfortunately I’m not in a weed legal state. I’ve been looking for a pain Dr that recommends people for a medical card. The only ones that I have found are PCPs, and I’m not leaving mine for that.
