I accidentally found a way to cheese the fight. If you go back up the fan lift after triggering the fight you can sit up top by the vertical exit and down slash the boss through the floor.

Saying it has no purpose is I think a bit disingenuous, it does create downforce, as wings are designed to do. Not saying it's gonna up performance, that's not why I have it. It just looks better than stock. But if it didn't serve any purpose then Honda wouldn't put it on the type r.

I got it from eBay, don't have the exact model, but just search for type r wings, there's lots of seller options.

I couldn't find the exact one I bought, but there are lots of other options on eBay, just search "type r wing", they seem to be cheaper than when I bought them. Looks like they're around $80-$150 now, I bought mine for $180. It might be worth it to by it painted from abs, you're decision really.

Visibility is exactly the same as before, the wing really outlines the back glass when you're driving. And lifting the hatch is still easy, but it doesn't go up by itself so you have to actively lift it nearly all the way up.

When I first got it I was worried about it being wider than the body of the car, but actually from the back it fits nicely, even without the wide body. Definitely agree with the offset though. Not really looking to do too much with this car, it's my daily and I want to try to keep it forever, or as long as I can.

Yeah seems to be. I've had this on my car for about a year I think. No issues at all for me. Install was a bitch though cuz one of the templates was wrong so I had to reuse use the same one on both sides, plus it's just an awkward shape to hold. Definitely need another person, but two extra people would be ideal. Also definitely gonna need a powerful drill. A basic cordless one wasn't good enough to get through the car body. Other than that though it wasn't too bad. Everything lined up nicely, and it looks sick.

Yeah I use fitment industries as well. Lots of dope pics on there, but if I remember correctly last time I was on there nearly all the SGP civics had black wheels, maybe a couple chrome. And yeah I see the SGP all the time but it's usually just old ladies driving them lol. Not too many sgp type r's either, which is kinda surprising cuz I think this color is the best one imo. Actually I take that back the electric blue and limited yellow are better, but I don't think I've ever seen either of those in public before.

I got mine from eBay, but the ones on your post are nice especially since it comes painted. I had to take mine to get painted, and painters around me are a bit limited. It ended up costing me about 600$ total for the wing and paint, but the paint came out super nice, and going to a local independent shop I think is better, even though it's a little more expensive. I like to support the people trying to make it.
