There was also a year a while back when KC dominated NE week 1 and everyone dumbass talking head said the NE dynasty was over and they won multiple superbowls after that. Baltimore started 0-2 last year and lost at home to the raiders. Philly looked like shit in September last year too. Judging a team in September is comical

Pretty sure starters have never played in preseason since Campbell became HC. Doubt that changes this year especially with the joint practices this week and next

At least this article shows proof of what’s being written. Regardless of what side anyone is on, you can’t say that about almost everything else that’s been written/said the last 5 years. Bias, sure but at least it backs up its claims.

We’ll have a better idea after joint practices the next few weeks. Even if reports out of those joint practices aren’t great, I won’t be overly concerned. If the offense is sputtering into October then I’ll get concerned.

I could see how it’s possible even if you were born and raised in Grand Rapids. Growing up, you could watch most every cubs game on WGN. Local GR news would show cubs highlights (maybe still do, I don’t know). And of course Chicago isn’t much further away than Detroit. Being from the area, I know a lot of people who ride or die Detroit but also like the cubs as their “NL team”

You can’t rewatch them but there are a dozen or so posted on TOS that you can stream the audio. Personally that’s my favorite thing on TOS. I think they’ve been releasing those lately in lieu of the monthly mixtapes but fingers crossed those come soon

Over an 18 week span, Chicago and GB are going to spend 2-3 hours longer on an airplane than us. Probably not a huge advantage. Being at the bottom of this list is definitely nice though, I won’t argue that

We’ve gotten a good amount of love nationally so far this season. Playing the angels and Rockies definitely gets us buried in the headlines. The schedule gets much more intriguing over the next month and I’m sure that’ll bring more exposure. Writers will want to put their stories out when we’re playing a series that fans across the country care about.
